Oh yes, mirrors are indeed strange portals, certainly portals. I forgot to say we've an excellent example in Alice Through the Looking Glass. I had it and Alice in Wonderland read to me as a child but I must read them again

Well you have rekindled and improved my fascination with what mirrors can be and do. I recall as a child I'd hold two mirrors up facing each other, actually one was a fairly large on on the wall and it showed infinity or what purported to be be infinity continuance of my face or whatever I held up. The obsidian mirror used in Mexico is fascinating, I think it shows the future, events and captures dreams. In the philosophy story book, Sophie's World a mirror set in brass links two parallel existances. As you know the acid test of whether a thing is a vampire or not is if they don't app in it they are vampires. The picture you have shown with the mirror further enhances their function and magic @ least for me. One guy I've reservations about being sound on proper fairy tales is Hans Christian Anderson, wasn't he into unsatisfactory tales for children Well perhaps there'll even be mirror experiences with your upcoming course!
