Yes, well you couldn't know, and it would take too long to tell, but there is something weird with me and the 20s & 30s. I don't yet exactly know why the powers that be are so intent on erasing the memory and replacing it with shallow water fantasy, but they are.
Ella Young just kind of struck me because her description was so close to Georgia O'Keefe, and they are dead now, but I knew Ranchers who befriended her, and the personality descriptions of the two harmonized, and I just entertained my own strange thinking that it was the light of the otherworld within them.
She's an interesting, and largely unheralded, figure all right Siofra. She has a very striking version of the red woman story as well if you don't know it already, where a door opens at the foot of Knocknarea allowing entrance to the Otherworld.
Well, you have done it, Siofra, I am humbled and speechless.
I just enjoyed this piece.
Thank you 🙏 Mike . But remember the tale was written by Ella Young . She should be remembered .
Yes, of course, no slight intended.
Only that I wished not to claim that version of the tale as my own .

Best wishes.
Poor Donegal history repeats itself.
